1 dead, at least 8 others wounded in city shootings since Friday afternoon, police say

A male victim was fatally wounded while he was seated in a parked vehicle in the South Austin neighborhood, and at least eight others were injured in shootings on the West and South sides since late Friday afternoon, Chicago police said.
