Law enforcement personnel were at the home in the 1400 block of Orchard Lane in Northbrook for most of the day Wednesday as a portion of the backyard was excavated. Police are investigating a tip in a cold case involving Linda H. Seymour who was reported missing from Northbrook in the winter of 1982.
