Owner cited, dog walker charged after pit bull, Akita dogs attack multiple pets and owners in Palatine, leaving one dog dead

The owner of two dogs, a pit bull and an Akita, that attacked other pets and their owners Monday night in northwest suburban Palatine, killing one dog, has been cited and the person who was walking them during the attack was arrested, police said.
