‘She saved her life — and then she gets shot herself,’ says relative of security guard shot while helping senior at Park Manor apartment building

A mother of five who was critically injured in a Park Manor shooting while working as a security guard Tuesday night didn’t appear to be the target of the shooter, her employer said Wednesday morning.
