Cicero woman sentenced to 6 1/2 years in forced labor case targeting Guatemalan immigrants

A federal judge sentenced a Cicero woman to 6 1/2 years in federal prison for bringing Guatemalan immigrants to the U.S. and keeping them in her home as they worked to repay her, saying human trafficking is a “horrific” crime.
